Ronnie Scott

This is my contemporary take on one of the most popular electric guitars ever played. I have been here before of course but this concept is a little different. I have always loved the shape of the Telecaster. Her contours are elegant and proportionally perfect: Leo had a fine eye for detail. Consequently, she can be adapted to suit almost any design. As you can see, this experimental “Telecaster” guitar is a hybrid and features a handcrafted ebony acoustic bridge, Fishman AG-Series acoustic pickup with Powerchip and a Seymour Duncan “JB” humbucker. Our friend and consultant, Gary Grainger, is the current custodian, he is thrilled at how she looks and plays.

This guitar was purely self-indulgent and was nothing more than a design exercise: I was intrigued whether I could design something that wasn’t quite so retro! A good friend of mine who lives in London is to blame for the name! As always, many thanks for your time and continued support. SR
